I could get one of those at a Ford dealer near me. Don’t want to though and not that many others do either - it’s one of the slower selling vehicles Ford has. They do about ten Transits per Ranger.

We don’t see that many Ford Rangers though. It’s mostly Mitsubishi L200s and Toyota HiLuxs with the occasional Isuzu D-Max.

Buy an SS, check Holden badge option, problem solved.

that would be awesome.

UTES. They’re hilarious. Thank you, Australia

Edit: No it’s not an option.

A couple of pictures have Aussie plates but I’m British.
The other common pickup on U.K. roads is the Nissan Navara.
The L200 is usually black or silver with Barbarian, Warrior or Animal decals.

I’m way more interested in these midsized pickups than the chrome plastered behemouths we get in the US, that’s for sure

Ye’, I really don’t see the point in those massive rigs. They look ridiculous.
Seriously, what is the point of this?
![]() 03/24/2016 at 14:03 |

The funny thing is that the big shiny grille stays the same size on all models lol. WTF
![]() 03/24/2016 at 14:22 |

Really. Bloody hell.
But I can’t see what that rig could do over a regular pickup in daily life.
Sure it may tow a massive amount but here’s what we use, a Ford Transit.

That wheel/tire combo is the business

I believe we are getting that soon. Saw it at the local auto show.

That Lacrosse would make a great big Opel/Vauxhall. But the market for large (fwd) sedans in Europe is tougher than tough if your name isn’t BMW, Audi or Mercedes Benz.
![]() 03/25/2016 at 08:02 |

It would compete directly with Volvo but not much else.

In Europe you gotta have either diesel engines, wagons and rwd or all three. Heck, Cadillac only sold two CTSs in Germany last month.

That’s because America has a bunch of silly laws against freedom

Ford is the worst culprit... We never got any RS or Cosworth cars until just now, their Australian cars are awesome, and they still sell the Ranger everywhere but the US... -___-
Still can’t fathom why they never bothered to give us a crack at the modern Falcons!
At least GM brings their euro cars over for Buick to sell XD
